Missionary couple to Indonesia speak at Grace Gospel Church

On Sunday, July 10, Grace Gospel Church will host Mario Indino, missionary to Indonesia through Grace Beyond Borders International (GBBI).

Mario and his wife, Ella, have served as missionaries since 1978 in Indonesia, Brazil, Philippines and Papua New Guinea. Mario gives lectures in theological seminaries, conducts seminars for laymen and pastors and organizes Bible conferences.

He is also involved in evangelism and church planting programs, while Ella works as a school principal in Indonesia (Christian Theological High School).

Grace Gospel Church throws a party

Grace Gospel Church held a block party, open to the public, on Saturday at the church, 323 N. Gilbert St.

There were hot dogs, games, a bounce house, music and more for all those who attended the party on a pleasant Saturday.

Grace Gospel block party Saturday

Grace Gospel Church will sponsor a block party with free food, games, prizes, music, and a bounce house from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 25. The church is located at 323 N. Gilbert St., Ada. The public is invited

Blessing of the Bikes June 26 at Sugar Grove UMC

Sugar Grove United Methodist Church will hold a Blessing of the Bikes following the 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday June 26, at the church on State Route 81 east of Ada.  

The community is invited to ride motorcycles, scooters, mopeds and bicycles to church for the blessing.  A potluck picnic will follow in the church basement.  All are welcome.

First Baptist VBS held June 20-24

First Baptist Church of Ada invites area youth to its Vacation Bible School held next week.

The VBS is each evening from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, June 20-24, at the church located at 350 W. North Ave.

This year's VBS theme is "Ocean Commotion Vacation Bible School." Classes are available for youth ages 4 to 12 years of age. VBS planners ask that youth must be potty trained.
