Riley Creek Baptist VBS June 12-15

Riley Creek Baptist Church will hold its Vacation Bible School later this month.

Ocean Commotion, Diving into Noah's Flood, takes place fom 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. nightly from Sunday to Wednesday, June 12-15 at the church, 4950 Township Road 27, Bluffton.

The VBS is for youth ages 2 through sixth grade. For questions call the church between 9 a.m. and 4 p .m. at 419-326-6361.

Auglaize Bible Church VBS June 14-17

King's Castle Vacation Bible School takes place at Auglaize Bible Church, 2525 S. Phillips Road, Harrod, later this month.

The vacation Bible school is for youth ages 5 to 12 and takes place from Tuesday to Friday, June 14-17, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each evening.

The VBS theme centers on how King Jesus trains his knights to be good knights.

St. Mark's Lutheran VBS June 6-10 is "farm-tastic!"

St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 125 Johnson St., Ada, will hold its summer Vacation Bible School Monday through Friday, June 6-10 at the church. VBS takes place from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

This year's theme is "Barnyard Roundup." Registration is open to ages preschool through sixth grade

With all of the work going on outside, it appears that spring has hit with a vengeance--finally. We can add to the list of projects roof repairs at Our Lady of Lourdes.

900 chicken dinners for a great cause

Grace Gospel Church held a fundraiser on Thursday evening, selling 900 chicken dinners.

The profit from the endeavor goes to help with medical expenses for Amelia Griffin, who is fighting cancer.

She is the four-year-old daughter of Beau and Christina Griffin.

Tickets on sale for Shannon Upton's Mother's Day banquet at CL Church of the Brethren

Shannon Upton, Christian speaker and author of the Organizing You books, is the guest speaker at County Line Church of the Brethren's Mother's Day banquet, at 6 p.m., Friday, April 29.

Upton helps women clear out their spiritual clutter so they can grow closer to their families and their Lord.

Reserve tickets ($5 adults, $3 youth) by calling the church office at 419-649-5364.

Following her talk her books are available at a discounted price and she will sign them.
