Alger Assembly of God WTGN Church of the Week

Alger Assembly of God will be WTGN Church of the Week on Sunday, Aug 7.

The radio station will broadcast the 10:30 a.m. service live on 97.7 FM in Lima, 98.7 FM in Findlay, and 105.1 FM in Kenton.

Pastor Mark Andreasen will be on the prayer time devotionals from 9:05 until 9:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, Aug. 8-12.

Backpack blessings July 30 at USV

Alger First United Methodist Church will sponsor a Backpack Blessings from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, July 30, at USV Schools.

Alger Assembly of God Church is cooperating with the project.

Schools supplies such as boxes of tissues, index cards, markers, and pens, will be passed out to USV children.

Cave Quest VBS theme at Alger Assembly of God

Children sing songs and do hand motions during Alger Assembly of God VBS on Monday evening. About 120 youngsters and helpers were on hand for "Cave Quest" which runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. through Friday.

Alger Assembly of God VBS July 25-29

Alger Assembly of God will hold Vacation Bible School from Monday, July 25, to Friday, July 29, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the church. It is open to youth ages 4 through fifth grade.

This year's VBS theme is Cave Quest: Following Jesus The Light of the World.

A Family Fun Day takes place Sunday, July 31, from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event includes music, inflaatables and free food.

The church is located at 7059 State Route 235, Alger.

 

Awake America Conference at Liberty Baptist Church

Liberty Baptist Church, 2955 County Road 20, Ada, will host Chuck Harding in an Awake America Conference later this month.

The conference is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 29-31. The schedule of programs follow:
• Friday evening: 6:30 p.m.
• Saturday morning: 9 a.m.
• Sunday morning: 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
• Sunday evening, 6 p.m.

Full Gospel's VBS train ride

Abbey Anderson rings the bell on the chocho train at Ada Full Gospel Church.
