October 27 Meet the Candidates Night in Kenton

A Meet the Candidates Night will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 27 at The Veterans Hall, Courthouse Square, Kenton. 

The event is hosted by the Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance and Hardin Leadership Inc.

This event is free and open to the public. Candidates attending (on the November 8 general election ballot) are

‘Condition Blue: The Acoustics of Aquatics’ coming to Bluffton

BLUFFTON--“Condition Blue: The Acoustics of Aquatics,” a show from renowned contemporary ensemble CORDIS, comes to Bluffton University at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31 in Yoder Recital Hall. 

In partnership with National Geographic Society, CORDIS will perform on the world’s most creative collection of traditional and water-based instruments, set amidst breathtaking film and narration. The ensemble incorporates acoustic instruments, electronic sound generation and a visually striking presentation to actively engage the audience in experiencing and learning more about this valuable natural resource.

November 1 Trivia Night at The Inn at ONU

On Tuesday, November 1 The Inn at ONU will host its first Trivia Night. The Inn will have drink specials and put your knowledge to the test.

October 27 - Trick or Treat Night

  • 5:30-7:30 p.m. (Rain, snow, or shine)

    • Vancrest of Ada Trunk or Treat
    • Ada First United Methodist Church Trunk or Treat

Sheriff's office schedules Shop with a Cop for December 3

On December 3, the Hardin County Sheriff's Office will sponsor the annual "Shop with a Cop" program. The event allows children from Hardin County to spend a fun-filled day with Hardin County Law Enforcement and volunteers.

Donations are now being accepted at the Sheriff’s Office located at 1025 South Main Street Kenton, Ohio 43326. For further information on the program, please contact Detective Christina Henderson at 419-673-1268 ext. 1423.
