Richland Manor board meets

The board meets four times a year and hears updates from the administrator and staff members. The board also provides feedback to the administrator and staff from the community that Richland Manor serves.

The most recent meeting of the board was earlier this month.

Jones, Kwiat, Pasquale, Lovejoy named NWCA Scholar All-Americans in wrestling for 2012-13

Four Ohio Northern student/athletes were named Scholar All-Americans in wrestling for 2012-13 in voting conducted by the National Wrestling Coaches of Association.

Seniors Jeremy Jones and Kyle Kwiat, junior Jerry Pasquale and sophomore Cody Lovejoy were all selected to the team.

Jones is a two-time NCAA III Championships qualifier, is a three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree and finished 28-20 this season, wrestling at 133 pounds.

An athletic training major, Jones currently ranks 24th all-time at ONU with a 77-65 career record.

Eggcellent Adventure March 23 at Apollo Career Center

Apollo Career Center  invites the community to its first Eggcellent Adventure, Saturday, March 23. Activities for the whole family begin at 7:30 a.m., culminating with a 10,000 egg, egg hunt on the front lawn of the Career Center. The grand prize will be a lucky winner and their family winning a trip to Disney (family of four).

A pancake breakfast will be served 7:30-11:00 a.m. and includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage and lemonade, adults: $5, and kids under 10, $3. Other food items available include shredded pork, hot dogs, chips, pop, coffee, water and hot chocolate.
