The Icon invites churches in our viewership area to provide live stream, website and Facebook links that show Sunday services broadcasts. The Icon will post all links received.
Also, churches may send any additional church-related news for publication. We will accept pdfs of church newsletters and Sunday bulletins.
St. Mark Lutheran Church is canceling its Sunday worship services for March 22 and March 29. In addition, the March community meal previously scheduled near the end of the month is canceled.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Ada, 22 E. Highland, will have three Ash Wednesday events on Feb. 26.
• Communion service with ashes 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes
• Ash Wednesday ecumenical service with ashes in English Chapel, ONU at noon
• Mass with ashes 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes

Ada First United Methodist Church will offer two ways to observe Ash Wednesday this week.
In partnership with Sugar Grove United Methodist, the congregations offer three “drive-thru” service times as well as an evening worship service.
During the three “drive-thru” times, participants will experience the significance of Ash Wednesday.
The experience is through scripture reading, prayer, the imposition of ashes, and a blessing, all from the comfort of your car and under the canopy entrance on Highland Street at Ada First United Methodist Church
Drive-thru hours are 8 to 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., and 5 to-6.m.
County Line Church is hosting a "Leap into Spring" garage sale in their barn, at 4227 N. Hardin Rd., on Saturday, Feb. 29, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Local vendors will be selling second-hand items, including vintage, antiques, household items, clothes, plus handmade crafts, homemade foods and products from home-based businesses in the church’s multi-purpose barn.
The youth group will be selling snacks.
The proceeds from table rentals and snack sales will go to help support the church’s clothing pantry, which offers free clothing and accessories to anyone in need.

Rhett Grant from the Ada Public Library, will speak to the Owls group at First United Methodist Church at noon, Wednesday, Jan. 15.
The talk is in the Wesley Fellowship Hall.
Owls will meet on Wednesday, January 15 at noon in the Wesley Fellowship Hall. The group is open to all persons 55 years old and older. You do not need to be a member of Ada First UMC.
