August 23, 1876 - St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized at the home of Samuel Anspach, Esq., by Rev. J.L. Smith, missionary president of this synod with the following membership; Samuel Anspach and wife, John W. Umbaugh and wife, J.H. Umbaugh and wife, S.M. Anspach and wife, Augustus Cronbaugh and wife, Luther M. McCreary and Mrs. A. Oberlin.

Ada Fire Chief Jay Eply, right, presents Dwight Musser with a red axe in recognition of Musser's 50 consecutive years of service to the Ada -Liberty Township Fire Department.

Opera extras - 1991

The year was 1991.

Several area  Ada youngsters performed in the opera "Hansel and Gretel," at the Freed Center in December that year.

It's a 1960 Ford Falcon - for ONU athletic department

Here's a photo from Cole Motor Sales archives. It's a 1960 Ford Falcon purchased by the Ohio Northern University athletic department. This was the first year the Falcon was introduced. That's a mean looking polar bear painted on the trunk.
