The Ada Public Library will host Bingo at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, July 5 and 19.

All ages are welcome at the event, located at 320 N. Main St.

Traveling fastpitch softball tryouts

The NWO Lady Buckeyes fastpitch softball teams are holding tryouts for the 2022-2023 season at the Elida Varsity & JV Softball fields, 4500 Sunnydale St. The teams are a nonprofit traveling program.

Friday movie night in McGuffey

UPDATE July 8, 2022: This event has been postponed.

The McGuffey Memories historical society will host a family outdoor movie night on Friday, July 8.

Beginning at 9:30 p.m. the society will show Disney-Pixar's Luca (2021), described on IMDB as "On the Italian Riviera, an unlikely but strong friendship grows between a human being and a sea monster disguised as a human."

The showing will be on the lawn behind the community center, 404 Courtright St., McGuffey. Free popcorn and drinks will be served.

Back to school clothing program from Hardin Co. JFS

KENTON, Ohio⎯The Hardin County Department of Job and Family Services will launch a countywide back to school clothing program for eligible Hardin County families beginning Monday, July 11.

“To be eligible families must reside in Hardin County, have children enrolled in grades PreK-12 and be at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level. For a family of four, that’s right around $55,000 a year,” stated John Folk, Hardin County JFS Director.
