Ada swimmers dominate Van Wert

By Cort Reynolds

The host Ada summer swim team rolled to a sweep of its meet over Van Wert in the final Western Ohio Aquatic League dual event of the regular season on a steamy Thursday night, June 30, at the Ada Municipal Pool.

The Ada boys dunked VW 243.5-82.5, while the Gator girls splashed the Marlins, 218-72.

The Gators captured the combined boys/girls competition over the undermanned Van Wert squad by a score of 461.5-154.5.

Ada's Olivia Agozzino (girls 9-10 age bracket) took first in four races to pace the Lady Alligators.

Gator Tim Chrissobolis (13-14) won two individual races.
