If you have a family member who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, or is starting to show symptoms, you will face some real challenges. Navigating the Alzheimer’s experience involves a long journey, and there’s no easy answer for how you can cope with your emotions. But you can at least address some of the financial issues involved to help give yourself a greater sense of control.

Jeraldine Stone Sparks obituary

Jeraldine Stone Sparks, age 86, of Kenton, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 9:55 AM at Kenton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  

She was born on January 20, 1936, in Hardin County, Ohio to the late James and Stella (Howard) Stone. 

She married the late Robert Sparks. Her children: David (Lorinda) Sparks of Belle Center, Darlene (Rudy) Altamirano of Kathleen, Georgia and Denise Guess of Kathleen, Georgia all survive, along with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

AHS golf sectional recap

The Ada High School golf team finished 10th at the 11-team Div. III northwest sectional tournament Thursday, September 29, at Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Arlington.

Carey nipped second-place Allen East (366-368) for the team sectional crown by two shots. Ada finished with 526 strokes.

Ada senior Geddes Klingler and junior Jack Baumgartner tied for team-best honors in 25th place. Klingler and Baumgartner each shot a 54-58=102 over 18 holes.

Freshman Sam Crawford came in 48th by carding a score of 77-75=152.

Ada freshman Jayden Shaffer finished 49th with a total of 88-82=170.
