The Ohio High School Athletic Association released its weekly football computer ratings Tuesday, Oct. 16. The weekly computer ratings are released every Tuesday afternoon beginning after the fourth week of the season, leading up to the final report released on Sunday, Oct. 28. The top eight teams in each region will qualify for the regional quarterfinals.
Freshman Devon Price has been named OAC Football Special Team Player of the Week for the week of October 15.
This past Saturday against Marietta, Price took the opening kickoff 70 yards to set up the Polar Bears first score of the afternoon.
In addition to his big return, Price had two receptions for 94 yards, including a 75 yard touchdown reception in Northern's 56-14 win over the Marietta.
This season, Price has a 25.1 yard average on nine kickoff returns.
In addition, he is second on the team in receptions and receiving yards with 15 and 235 respectively.

Seniors Tate Humphrey and Carter Paul had career days, leading Ohio Northern to a 56-14 football victory at Marietta Saturday afternoon at Don Drumm Stadium.
The Polar Bears improve to 2-4 overall and 2-3 in Ohio Athletic Conference in the Ohio Athletic Conference, while the Pioneers fall to 0-6, 0-5.
The victory was also the 100th career coaching win for ONU head coach Dean Paul. In 14 seasons, Paul now has a 100-39 career record. He is 60-27 in nine seasons as Ohio Northern.
Humphrey completed 14 of 21 passes for a career-high 271 yards and 3 TDs and Paul ran 23 times for a career-high 121 yards and three scores.
The Ohio Northern women's soccer team wrapped up its 2012 non-conference schedule on Thursday with a 1-0 loss to Wittenberg at the ONU Soccer Field.
The Polar Bears fall to 6-4-3 on the season, while the Tigers are now 7-3-2.
The lone goal in the contest came with 37:17 gone in the first half when Kaylee Gialamas scored on a rebound of a shot put up by teammate Grace Winzeler.
Winzeler's shot bounced off the cross bar on a breakaway to set up the goal.
In the second half both teams played very well but neither was able to put the ball in the net.
