Juniors Mark Berton and Evan McKee each earned First Team All-Conference honors with top-9 finishes to lead Ohio Northern to a second place finish at the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Championships Saturday afternoon at the Wilmington Cross Country Course.
The Polar Bears (80-24 overall) finished second of 10 teams with 76 points. Mount Union won the team title with 45 points, John Carroll was third with 94 points and WIlmington was fourth with 125 points.
Berton finished seventh in 26:03 and McKee was ninth in 26:08.
Four Polar Bear runners earned All-OAC honors by finishing in the top 18.

Ross capped off a phenomonial week in which he scored seven goals.

Senior Anthony Fletcher caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from senior Tate Humphrey with 33 seconds left to lift Ohio Northern to a 20-19 football victory over Muskingum Saturday afternoon at Dial-Roberson Stadium.
The Polar Bears improve to 3-5 overall and are 3-4 in Ohio Athletic Conference play, while the Muskies fall to 1-7, 1-6.
Facing a 4th and goal from the 5-yard line, Humphrey rolled to his right and couldn't find an open receiver. He then looked back to his left and found Fletcher wide open in the corner of the end zone for the score.
