Frank Dilts was a lifelong farmer

Frank E. Dilts, 86, died on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013, at his residence in Ada.

He was born on Jan. 29, 1927, in Paulding County, Ohio to E. E. and Olive (Lehman) Dilts and they preceded him in death. He married Helen McDougle on June 22, 1947 and she survives in Ada.

Frank was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of the Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, Alger.

"Captain Phillips" starts Friday at Ada Theatre

Starting Friday, October 25 and running through Thursday, October 31 is Captain Phillips (PG-13).

Showtimes are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.

An artist colony forming in Ada and you'll find their works in Health-Chek

Over the late summer, a downtown Ada business had a transformation and now carries lots of locally created art and crafts from Ada area artisans.

The “art store” is Health-Chek, 117 S. Main St., owned by Alisa Armbrecht, which continues to carry supplements, vitamins and minerals.

On the art side, customers will now find art, craft items and books by Karen Ward, Lynn Scott, Ellie Miller (Lynn’s mother), Vanessa Ward, Darlene Bowers, Vicki Wolke, Vicki Coldiron, Jennifer McDougall, Pat Pateleno, Deb Curlis, Alisa Armbrecht, Mary Hackworth and Catherine Craker.
