BINGO! for the 1,000th time in Ada.

Thursday, April 9, marks the 1,000th night of play for Ada Bingo.

Dave Smittle of the Ada Music Boosters told the Icon: "In recognition of this occasion, there will be even greater payouts than normal, so make sure you attend and tell all of your friends. On April 9, Ada Bingo, in commemoration of its 1,000th night of play, will pay out at Level 2 prize levels no matter how many players are in attendance."

Graphic Advocacy exhibit closes April 12 in Elzay Gallery of Art

There's still time to view “Graphic Advocacy: International Posters for the Digital Age 2001-2012” at the Elzay Gallery of Art on the campus of Ohio Northern University.

The exhibit is a compilation of 122 selected posters that serve to both consider the designer’s role and this medium’s ability to present social and political statements that are visually able to cross language barriers.

The exhibit runs through April 12. This show was made possible by the Committee for Cultural & Special Events at ONU.

Doggie in the window

How much is that doggie in the window? You'll just have to go into Artist Boutique on Main and ask. The art piece casts an interesting shadow as it watches Ada's Main Street from the display window at 117 N. Main St.
