Bonnie Maus was a retired teacher at Allen East schools

Bonnie M. Maus, 88 died on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at 10:40 p.m. at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.

She was born on Feb. 1, 1928, in Hancock County, Ohio to Mason “Mace” and Burdelle (Pendleton) Rader and they preceded her in death. On May 21, 1949, she married Robert Doyle Maus and he died on Dec. 15, 1980.

Bonnie retired from Allen East Schools where she was a teacher.

Surviving are two sons: Jeffery (Jane) Maus of Van Wert and Jerry (Cindy) Maus of LaFayette; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Cassandra "Sandy" Dunlap 1946-2016

Cassandra M. “Sandy” Dunlap, 69, died Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 12:34 p.m. at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Ohio.  

She was born on Nov. 13, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to James O. and Helen M. (Rohrer) Brown. Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Lima. On Oct. 15, 1965, she married Leslie N. Dunlap and he survives in Alger, Ohio.

Sandy was formerly a Dental Assistant and a Respiratory Therapist. She was also co-owner of Dunlap Masonry and Belmont Court, LLC.

Chris Wireman was a 1998 Upper Scioto HS grad

Chris Wireman, 36, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 2:39 AM at St. Rita’s Medical Center. Lima, Ohio.

He was born on August 4, 1979 in Kenton, Ohio to Paul and Linda Sue (Griffith) Wireman who survive in Alger, Ohio.       

Chris was a welder at McCullough Industries, Inc. of Kenton, Ohio. He formerly worked at Auto Glass Company, Bellefontaine, Ohio. He was a 1998 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School and Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. He attended New Birth Living Word Church in Alger, Ohio.

Sylas Daniels worked at Honda Transmission plant

Sylas Payne Daniels, 18, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at 3:11 p.m. at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
   
He was born on April 30, 1997 in Lima, Ohio, to Jeffrey W. Daniels and Barbara A. (Trout) Lawrence.  His father survives in rural Kenton, Ohio and his mother and step-father, Stephen Lawrence survive in Clarksville, Tenn. Sylas worked at the Honda Transmission Plant, Russels Point.  He had attended Upper Scioto Valley High School.

Alice Grant was an avid quilter

Alice I. Grant, 94, died on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 10:35 a.m. at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.

She was born on June 4, 1921, in Columbus Grove, Ohio to John and Esther (Liecthy) Dunbar who preceded her in death. On April 9, 1938, she married Harold F. “Fuzz” Grant and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1992.

Alice was a mother, farmer’s wife and homemaker. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Ada. Alice was a member of the Women of the ELCA and the LaFayette Wednesday Card Club. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed making quilts for others. Alice donated her time by working at the Ada Food Pantry.

David "Dusty" Klingler was a 1979 Ada High School graduate

David L. “Dusty” Klingler, 54, died on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 9:32 a.m. at his residence in Ada.

Dusty was born on April 16, 1961, in Lima, Ohio, to Kenneth L. and Janet E. (Jones) Klingler and they survive in Ada.

Dusty worked at the Ohio Department of Transportation and retired after 20 years.  He was a 1979 graduate of Ada High School.  Dusty was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, Ada.  He was a sport pilot and flew out of Van Wert and Allen County Airports.
