Jefferson holds Bulldogs scoreless in homecoming game

By Dusty Donley
The Ada Bulldog offense was held scoreless for the second time this season as the visiting Delphos Jefferson Wildcats traveled to War Memorial Stadium and got a hard fought, 10-0 Northwest Conference victory. The loss drops Ada to (5-4) overall and (4-3) in the conference, ending any shot the Bulldogs had at a

piece of the NWC Championship.

Both offenses failed to find the end zone in the first half as Wildcat kicker Kurt Wollenhaupt's 31-yard field goal late in the second quarter were the only points either team could muster before the halftime intermission.

Reminder – Leaf pick up season starts Monday

As you may have seen in your September water bill, the village will once again be conducting leaf pick up this fall. The first scheduled date of pick up is Monday, Nov. 3.

If you would like to have the village pick up your leaves, below are a few guidelines that you are asked to follow:
•  Please rake leaves only to the tree lawn area the day prior to your scheduled pick up. If there is debris or any material other than leaves in the piles, the village will not pick up your leaves, and you will be responsible for disposing of the leaves and debris. Debris could include, but is not limited to, tree branches, twigs and yard waste.

Are you really the Pope?

Well, no, but he is ordained. David MacDonald, Ohio Northern University campus pastor, was the Pope for a day during yesterday's Ada Kiwanis Club's Halloween parade.
