Ada Municipal Pool luau with music, leis and Kona Ice

From 2:00-5:00 p.m. First 50 guests get a free lei

Join the Ada Pool Luau on June 29 for Hawaiian music and leis.

  • The first 50 people in the door will get a free lei
  • Kona Ice of Findlay (separate purchase)
  • Admission $5.00

The pool will be open regular hours from 1:00-8:00 p.m. with AquaZumba at 6:00 p.m.

July 23 Safe Haven purse bingo and raffle items rolling in

Want to donate? Organizers can arrange to pick up items

Safe Haven of Hardin County is hosting their 11th Annual Designer Purse Bingo event on Saturday, July 23 at the Kenton Moose Lodge, 801 W. Lima St.

The organization has begun posting raffle items on their Facebook page and will gladly accept additional donations--and pick them up.

Admission is $35 ($40 at the door) and includes 15 games of Bingo, heavy hors d'oevres, silent auction, 50/50, raffle item, wallet raffle.

Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. with bingo beginning at 6:00 p.m.

LSO brings Patriotic Pops to Ada on July 2

The Lima Symphony Orchestra will return with their popular annual
Patriotic Pops program on Saturday, July 2 at 7 p.m. on the campus of Ohio Northern University, 525 S Main St. The performance will take place on the lawn in front of the McIntosh Center.

Music Director Andrew Crust will lead a festive and patriotic program with
special tributes to our armed-forces. Bring the whole family to enjoy this engaging and celebratory performance.

Concert attendees are encouraged to arrive early and bring chairs, blankets, and snacks. These performances are free due to the generous support of Ohio Northern University.

Two opportunities to do yoga in Ada on Thursday, June 23!

  • 6:30 p.m. at the Ada Public Library and
  • 8:00 p.m. at the Ada Park (back by softball diamonds)!

Bring a mat or a towel and your water bottle. Classes are free and for all ages.

Ada and Kenton featured on June 26 Garden Tour

The Keep Hardin County Beautiful Commission will be hosting a garden tour in the Kenton and Ada area on June 26, 2022 from 1:00-5:00 p.m.

The “Blossoms and Butterflies” tour will be a relaxing stroll through nine beautiful gardens. The invitation reads: "We hope that you take this opportunity to experience the joys and rewards of gardening. A Master Gardener will be present at each garden to answer your gardening questions."

Tickets are available for $10 each and may be purchased at The Keep Hardin County Beautiful office, 1 Courthouse Sq # 140, Kenton. Call (419) 674-2216 for more information.
