Photo-story: Park-in-the-Park show benefits veterans and their famlies

On Saturday, June 11, Ada’s War Memorial Park provided an emerald green backdrop for the gleaming paint and polish on a wide array of specialty cars, trucks and motorcycles. Forty-five awards were presented by the Ada Ream-McElroy VFW, which presented this 3rd annual Park-in-the-Park show.

Event coordinator Wynn Hauenstein commented, “The Ada VFW is very appreciative of the support our show receives from Ada and surrounding communities. Because of this support, we are able to help veterans and other families in need as well as schools in the tri-county area and other civic organizations through our charitable arm, VFW of Ohio Charities.”
