Who knows more about flea markets than Gus Guthrie, proprietor of the Ada Flea Market on Main Street?

Here, he and his wife, Norma, help Mary Evenback sack up a purchases. Community Health Professionals hosted the Friday-Saturday event. Garage sales are always popular in the area, so people were waiting at the door when the sale began on Friday.

ArtSpace/Lima will host the 28th Annual Kewpee High School Art Invitational from Feb. 26 to April 9.

The exhibition, which will feature cash awards, includes works in various categories, including sculpture, photography, painting, digital media, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, and drawing.   The Kewpee Exhibit is sponsored by Kewpee Restaurants of Lima.

Approximately 20 area high schools, including Ada, are expected to exhibit their students’ work in the show.

Jurors for the exhibit are Jim Fultz, Assistant Professor of Art at Bluffton University and Joe Bonifas, retired art teach at Shawnee High School.

A few openings remain in Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs website basics workshop planned from noon to 1:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 19.

Ohio Northern University graduate, Ryan Lowry of Bluffton leads the workshop. A second workshop, takes place on Friday, Feb. 26. The sessions are in the BCE office, 110 S. Main St., Bluffton.

Both workshops cover the same information. These are offered on different dates to accommodate more participants.

The Ada second and thrd graders will present the musical "Lemonade!" in the school auditorium twice on Thursday, Feb. 25.

The first performance is during school at 1:15 p.m. The second performance is in the evening at 7 p.m., according to the Ada Music Boosters.

Here's a description of the performance: Everyone has heard the phrase, "When life hands you lemons, make lemonade!" It's a valuable lesson for children of all ages to learn and remember. Come be reminded of this as our favorite make-believe characters show us how a very bad day can be made better with the right outlook and attitude.

Both performances are open to the public.

Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs offers two February workshops covering the basics of websites.

The sessions are part of BCE’s HOW (Hands-on Workshop) series.

Community Health Professionals will hold an inside garage sale Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26 and 27, according to Deb Curlis.

Persons may rent a table for $10 to display items and must be present during open hours to take care of your own sales.

Set up is Thursday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sale hours are:
• Friday, Feb. 26: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Saturday, Feb. 27: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
