The Alger Memorial Festival Committee will hold a country-style breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, at the Alger Social Center, 210 N. Main St., Alger.
The menu includes biscuits, sausage gravy, hash browns, scrambled eggs, fried apples, sausage patties and a beverage.

The Ada Schools will hold a luncheon for senior citizens at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7, in the gymnasium of the K-12 building.
The 25th annual Christmas luncheon for those 62 years old or more will be followed by a performance of the award-winning Varsity Singers in the auditorium.
The tenth annual Night in Bethlehem will be held at Camp Common Ground in Dunkirk on Saturday, Dec. 3, and Sunday, Dec. 4.
“Night in Bethlehem,” an interactive, hands-on recreation of ancient Bethlehem. It is held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 3 and from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 4. “Night in Bethlehem is a walk-through tour, which is all about experiencing what life was like at the time Jesus was born.
The Alger Public Library has scheduled several events for all ages in November.
• Ages 3 through kindergarten - preschool story time on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. Songs, games, crafts, snacks.
• Grades 1-5 - Tune-in Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. Crafts, games, special guests. On Nov. 15, Ollie, a miniature horse and its owner, Jolene, will present a program on bullying and all ages are invited.
• All grades - Homework help from 5-6 p.m. on Thursdays
• Teen Night, 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, activities from 4-6 p.m.
