Vancrest's holiday craft show Saturday from 10 to 2:30 p.m.

Some Christmas shopping options take place in Ada on Saturday.

It's Vancrest's annual holiday craft fair from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, according to Jennifer Line, Vancrest activities director.

The show will include a visit from Santa Claus.  Vancrest is located at 600 W. North St., Ada.

Vendors being accepted for Vancrest Dec. 14 holiday craft show

Vancrest's annual holiday craft fair is from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, and vendors are being accepted, according to Jennifer Line.

Interested vendors may contact Line, activities director, at 419-558-1379.

The show will include a visit from Santa Claus.  Vancrest is located at 600 W. North St., Ada.

Next PaintINN Tuesday evening

The next PaintInn at The Inn at ONU is at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 10, or Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Participants will work under the guidance of a professional artist while you create a beautiful project while enjoying delicious food and drink.

This month's theme is create a Santa porch sitter (see picture below). 

The cost is $38 per perons. All supplies, food, a beverage and fun are included.  To plan accordingly, some PaintINN projects can take three or more hours.

Prices are subject to applicable taxes and gratuity.

Reservations are required and seating is limited. Call (419) 772-2500 to make your reservation.

Santa visits Midwest Rehab on Dec. 18

Midwest Rehab, 118 E. Highland Ave., Ada, will have a visit from Santa later this month, according to Joni Goodman.

The event includes storytime and cookies with Santa on Wednesday, Dec. 18. You are invited to visit Santa from 4 to 5 p.m. and enjoy a storytime with him from 5 to 6 p.m.

He'll bring the cookies.

McGuffey Christmas parade tonight!

Mr. and Mrs. Claus will be there

McGuffey is hosting their first-ever Christmas Parade on Wednesday, Dec. 4, in downtown McGuffey. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m., with activities to follow in the Community Room (behind the Post Office), 404 Courtright St. If you're coming from out of town, feel free to park at the school.

To see the parade, line up along Courtright Street (St. Rt. 195).

After the parade, Mr. & Mrs. Claus will be in the Community Room for pictures, Mr. Claus will read the Christmas story from the Bible to kids, plus indoor carnival games, free cookies, hot chocolate and hot apple cider will be available.
