Beatitudes’ children’s Christmas shopping spree takes place this week, according to Robert Kanzig.
The event is from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6. Area youth may come to Beatitudes that evening and pick out Christmas gifts for family members free of charge. Snacks will be provided and Santa Claus will be present.
Beatutides is at 210 N. Main St., Ada.
The Hardin County Community Foundation, Kenton, is a sponsor of the program.
Make plans to attend the free viewing of "Prancer,' showing at the Kenton Theatre at noon, Saturday, Dec. 7. The theatre is located at 221 West Franklin Street, Kenton.
Century 21 Sunway Realty, LLC, sponsors the free show, according to Becky Reed of the realty company. "The free show is a gift from us to the community," she said.
Also, Santa Claus is supposed to make an appearance.

FROM BLUFFTON ICON - Saturday's Blaze of Lights Festival draws families and friends off the couch and away from screens large and small to enjoy a festive day in downtown Bluffton.
The 33rd annual celebration is expected to draw several thousand people to the village, according to Paula Scott, CEO of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.
Bluffton’s shops, restaurants and festival vendors are ready to keep visitors busy, warm, and well-fed.
The fully staged musical revue ushers in the holiday season and includes dancing and singing while showcasing the performance talents of ONU students and area children.
