The Village of Ada provides a Zoom link so that you may attend the next council meeting--at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7--remotely.

Apollo Career Center board meets May 26

The Apollo Career Center May board meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 in Apollo's Board room.

The career center is located at 3325 Shawnee Rd., Lima.

Summary of May 19 Board of Education meeting

The Ada Exempted Village Schools board of education held a regular meeting on May 19. All board members were in attendance. Teachers from the Ada Schools were in attendance, filling all of the available chairs, to witness the approval of contracts for the next school year.

Emergency meeting called for May 23 by Ada Board of Education

The Ada Exempted Villages Schools Board of Education has scheduled an emergency meeting for 6 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 in the board room, 725 W. North Ave.

The Board will meet in a confidential executive session to consider: Preparing for, conducting, or reviewing negotiations or bargaining sessions with public  employees concerning their compensation or other terms and conditions of their employment.

Summary of May 17 Ada Council meeting 

Beer sales at Football Festival planned, Ada officers honored for live-saving actions, flower pot donation invitation

During the first moments of their May 17 meeting, Ada council members approved a motion to excuse the absences of Jeff Oestrich and Jason Campbell. There was a quorum, allowing voting to proceed.

The council approved minutes from the May 3 meeting, as well as transfers and bill payments.
