Summary of June 21 Village Council meeting

The Village of Ada council met for a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 21. All council members were present and Mayor Dave Retterer conducted the meeting.

The meeting began with approval of the minutes of the June 14 meeting and review and paying of bills, which can be found HERE on the village website.

MAYOR'S COMMENTS

The mayor gave the floor to Jeff Oestrich for a quick public service announcement about the June 26 Butterflies and Blooms garden tour in Ada and Kenton.

Ada Schools job openings announced June 14

Ada Schools have announced the following job searches for teachers/aides for the 2022-2023 school year.

Special meeting of Ada Council: Healthcare insurer options

The Village of Ada council will hold a Special Meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 to consider changes to employee healthcare insurance providers.

Summary of June 7 council meeting

Charles Van Dyne park naming, electronic radar signs approved

The following is a summary of the June 7 Village Of Ada regular council meeting. All members were in attendance and the meeting was conducted by Mayor Dave Retterer.

Council approved minutes from the May 17 meeting with Jason Campbell abstaining. Three payments of $435K, $56K and $50K were approved. 

The mayor shared a letter from the United States Postal Service on national dog bite awareness week. He also noted that the Train Depot park would be renamed the Charles Van Dyne Railroad Park in the course of the evening, which was done during new business.
