Ada Library Building Committee Meeting

Just a reminder that there is a meeting of the Ada Public Library Building Committee tonight at 6p.m. in the Library's Meeting Room.

ONU has two Division III All-Americans - and they are both sophomores

Ohio Northern University has two Division III NCAA track and field All-Americans - and they are both sophomore.

Ohio Northern sophomore Emily Richards earned All-America honors in the 800-meter run on the second and final day of the NCAA Division III Women's Indoor track & Field Championships on Saturday afternoon at the Bear Recreation and Athletic Center.

Richards came from the back of the pack with 300 meters to go, but was unable to overtake the race winner and was nipped at the tape for third place, finishing in 2:12.00.

Ada's "Wild Kingdom"

Peter Gros of "Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom" shows a legless lizard to Egypt Berghus, a freshman from Lima who was helping to videotape two Wild Kingdom shows at the Freed Center on Saturday. Gros brought along a number of animals to talk about during the performances.

Beta Alpha Psi accepts new organization pledges and inductees

Ohio Northern University’s chapter of Beta Alpha Psi accepted new organization pledges and inductees into its chapter during a ceremony on Jan. 28. In addition, the chapter inducted ONU alumna Joanne Lipski as an honorary member.

Lovett Distinguished Lecture Series to focus on Identify Your Strengths"

Ohio Northern University’s Dicke College of Business Administration will present “Transformational Leadership: How to Identify Your Strengths,” a lecture by Sheri Stoltenberg, as part of the Carroll V. Lovett Distinguished Lecture Series in the Dicke Forum on Wednesday, March 23, at 7 p.m.

Stoltenberg is the founder and CEO of Stoltenberg Consulting Inc., a health care IT consulting firm that has helped more than 250 health care organizations across the country implement, manage and better utilize information and business systems.
