Letter: Dig for a Cure raises $2,370

A letter from coach Kyleigh Woodruff and the Ada High School volleyball team:

Ada’s volleyball team held our annual Dig for a Cure event on Monday, October 2nd to battle against cancer and raise money for The Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) Network Foundation. This year Ada and Upper Scioto Valley schools worked together to raise a grand total of $2,370.12.  A breakdown of our total amount raised includes: $951 on raffle baskets, $631.50 at our bake sale, $89 on our serving game, $414.62 donations during “Storm the Fans”, and $284 on t-shirt sales.  This grand total would not have been possible without the generous donations that we received from not only both teams and staff but also our community.
