Bulldog volleyball beats Upper Sandusky

Ada hosts Leipsic on Oct. 10 in regular season finale

The visiting Ada High School volleyball team used a balanced hitting attack to defeat non-league foe Upper Sandusky in four sets Monday night, October 9.

The Bulldogs improved to 12-9 overall with the 25-20, 25-16, 22-25, 25-19 road victory. 

Senior setter Autumn Andreasen dished out 34 assists and hustled up 23 digs. She also served two aces. 

Senior Mariah King knocked down a season-best 11 kills.  

Sophomore Anna Conley hammered 10 kills and made one block.

Junior Tessa Griffith drilled seven kills and came up with one block. Senior Daicy Robinson contributed six kills, and freshman Dailah Preston also hit six kills.

Junior libero Jenna Bassitt mustered up 24 digs. 

Freshman Jaylin St. Laurent served three aces.

The Bulldog reserves won 2-0 to improve to 14-4 this season. The Ada freshman reserve team also won 2-1.

Ada (2-5 NWC) hosts second-place Northwest Conference foe Leipsic (13-2, 6-1 NWC) Tuesday, October 10 in the regular season finale.
