Judy A. Lawrence, 73, died on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at 8:31 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born on July 18, 1946, in Lima, Ohio to the late Francis and Doris (Baughman) Edens. In November 1970 Judy married Thomas A. Lawrence who survives in Huntsville.
Judy retired from the Upper Scioto Valley School Systems, where she drove bus for over 20 years. She was a lifelong member of the Alger Assembly of God Church. She was a 1964 graduate of Ada High School. Judy enjoyed cooking, liked her flowers, quilting, going out to eat and traveling. The most important thing Judy enjoyed was spending time with her family.
Amber Seggerson, Certified Nurse Practitioner, CNP, joined Bluffton Primary Care, this month.
The practice is at 161 Garau St., Bluffton, and it is a division of Blanchard Valley Health System. She joins Dr. Leah Eiden, at this location.
Seggerson holds an associate’s degree from Rhodes State and bachelor’s in nursing degree from Ohio Northern University. She also holds a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati.
She is certified in advanced training in joint injections, has experience working in a critical care unit., and has a special interest in mental health.
Several area Ada youngsters performed in the opera "Hansel and Gretel," at the Freed Center in December that year.

A speakeasy comes to Ada on Saturday, Sept. 28, and you are invited.
The Inn at ONU hosts a speakeasy cabaret from 7 to 9 p.m. offering a chance to travel back in time to the Roaring 1920s Prohibition era.
The evening includes appetizers, sparkling beverages and the sound of gold age jazz standards performed by the ONU Musical Theatre Class of 2020.
Tickets are $35 per guest. Reservation are required and seating is limited. To reserve your seat, call The Inn at 419-772-4112. A portion of the proceeds benefit the ONU musical theatre class.
