Here's a photo of the Ada Boy Scout during a paper drive in 1943. This is certainly the largest paper drive ever in Ada. The photo is  taken behind the Ada city building.

The Icon welcomes anyone who can contribute names of the scouts. The photo is from the collection of Tom Lehman.

Troop 124 will be hold a 100th anniversary dinner at Donnell Lodge at Camp Berry on Saturday, April 14, at 6 p.m. All interested parties are invited.

You may have to travel to Iowa to see this plate. The Icon spotted it in early March at the Ohio Northern University agriculture conferance. This guy's obviously an Iowa State fan and is certainly involved in agriculture.

Ohio Northern’s nursing program continues to be recognized for its effectiveness in preparing students for their careers. RegisteredNursing.org recently ranked ONU’s nursing program fifth among 89 RN programs in Ohio.

The ONU nursing program enrolls 121 students in its bachelor’s degree program.

It may take a wombat and Tasmanian devil, but ONU students do what is necessary to raise money for cancer research.

The Campus Relay for Life had a goal of $18,000 to raise between 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday during a walk inside the Sports Center.

Student organizations set up tables around the running track. The theme this year was foreign countries. Pictured at the Australian table are (from left) Amber Lilly, Shelby Barga as kangaroo, and Kelly Beazel, members of Kappa Psi pharmacy fraternity.

A man in his late teens or early 20s is being sought in relation to a motor vehicle theft and pursuit by deputies occurring at 4 a.m.Sunday. The sheriff’s office received a call about a car being stolen from a residence at 20087 CR 199 near Ridgeway.

The homeowner, who saw the vehicle being driven from his driveway, was able to follow the vehicle and direct responding deputies to his location.  Deputies located the vehicle as it entered Logan County where a low speed pursuit ensued.

At CR 40 the vehicle was driven off the roadway into a field where attempts to stop it were unsuccessful.
