Ada Icon and Bluffton Icon office hours update

The office of the Ada Icon and Bluffton Icon will be closed today, October 10, and will be closed for holidays including:

October 10 - Columbus Day / Indigenous People's Day

November 11 - Veterans Day

November 24-25 - Thanksgiving 

December 23-26 - Christmas

December 30-January 2 - New Year

F&M picnic memorabilia shared

The Ada Historical Society is looking for materials from Farmers and Merchants Picnics from earlier years up to about the 1980s.

Weekend Doctor: Annual wellness visits

Annual wellness visits (AWV) are an important part of an adult's healthy lifestyle. The purpose of an AWV is to develop and maintain a personalized prevention plan to help prevent disease and disability based on your current health and risk factors. Even if you do not have chronic illnesses, it is recommended to have an AWV to be proactive about your health. These visits differ from traditional office visits in which you may be seen for new or acute concerns. 

Special APL folklore story time on October 11

At 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, you're invited to join the Ada Public Library for a special story time full of classic American folklore with guest reader Lauren Williams.

The Ada Rotary visited the Ada Elementary to donate dictionaries to each of the 3rd graders. The school thanked the Rotary and posted this photo on the Ada Bulldogs Facebook page.
