While it was stinking hot on June 21, 2022, Ada didn't quite reach the record high.

Weather.com reported that Ada reached 97 degrees yesterday, with the record high remaining 101 degrees.

August election, absentee ballot application announced

The Hardin County Board of Elections has announced that a Primary Election will be held in Hardin County on August 2, 2022.

Absentee ballot requests may be mailed to the office at:

Hardin County Board of Elections
One Courthouse Square, Suite 40
Kenton, OH  43326

Or, they may be taken to the Courthouse in Kenton to the Red Drop Box labeled “Hardin County Board of Elections," located on the south side of the Courthouse on the ramp. This is a secure box, monitored by camera 24/7, and checked several times throughout the day.

Get a jump on the kiddos with lap swim

The Ada Municipal Pool invites adults to an hour of lap swim, Monday-Friday. From noon-1:00 p.m. adults are welcome to swim laps along the lanes of the pool.

This year, pool managers are using a punch card system. You can purchase a lap swim punch card for $10.

HOURS

  • Adult Lap Swim, Noon-1:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
  • Open Swim, 1:00-8:00 p.m. (Daily)
