Local weather, USDA crop weather reports for July 11

The attached report provides weather observations for our area during the first 11 days of July. 

A low of 55 and high of 91 were observed in Pandora, Ohio.

Attached is the Ohio Crop Weather Report for July 11 from the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service, Great Lakes Region.

Clum Rd. closure on July 12

The Allen County Engineer Office has announced that Clum Rd. between Napoleon and Hardin Roads will be closed on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for roadway berming.

Emergency vehicles will have access.

Construction on SR 81 near Dunkirk

ODOT District 1 update for the week of July 11, 2022:

Weather permitting, State Route 81, east of the village of Dunkirk, will be restricted to one lane for drainage work.

Roadway closure: Clum between Napoleon and Hardin

ODOT District 1 has announced the following road closure due to construction:

Clum Road between Napoleon and Hardin Roads, will be closed on Thursday, July 7, 2022 and Friday, July 8, 2022, weather permitting, from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. for roadway paving.

Emergency vehicles will have access.

 

Back to school clothing program from Hardin Co. JFS

KENTON, Ohio⎯The Hardin County Department of Job and Family Services will launch a countywide back to school clothing program for eligible Hardin County families beginning Monday, July 11.

“To be eligible families must reside in Hardin County, have children enrolled in grades PreK-12 and be at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty level. For a family of four, that’s right around $55,000 a year,” stated John Folk, Hardin County JFS Director.
