9 rescue vehicles respond to SR 235-309 accident

Ada police, fire, EMS and Alger fire and EMS responded to an accident at the intersection of State Route 235 and 309 at 3:11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, according to the Ada police report.

The accident resulted with face injuries of at least one person involved. Nine rescue vehicles responded to the accident according to the report.

Ada police called on custody dispute

Ada police were involved in a custody dispute on June 2. Police were called to 623 E. North Ave., Unit C, at 11:19 p.m. on Tuesday in the dispute.

Also, police investigated a complaint of multiple vehicles speeding through an alley next to a residence on South Simon Street.

Cattle reported loose on SR 309

Hardin County Sheriff officers responded to a call that livestock were on the roadway south of Ada on at 6:51 a.m. this morning, according to the Ada police log. 

Cattle were reported loose on the north side of State Route 309 between the Ada and Alger turn off.

Fire department responds to early AM call at McIntosh Center

Ada-Liberty Township Fire Department responded to a carbon fire alarm at 4:35 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27.

The call was to 402 W. College Ave., Ada, on the second floor, west end of McIntosh Center on the ONU campus. The department's engine 51 responded. No other details were provided.
