EMS and fire department respond to Aug. 3 accident at CR 15 and SR 81

Ada-Liberty Township EMS and fire responded to an accident involving injuries on Monday. The accident was at the intersection of County Road 15 and State Route 81, and was reported to Ada police at 6:15 a.m.

The police report for Aug. 2, included investigation of complaint from a resident on South Gilbert Street who heard three gunshots. The report was filed shortly after midnight.

$454 found on Main Street

The Ada police report of Saturday, July 25, states that someone found $454 on Main Street and turned the money over to the police. The report was made at 1:39 p.m. on Saturday.

Rescue units called to Gilbert Street stove fire

According to the Ada police report, several area units responded to a stove fire at 113 S. Gilbert St., Unit C at 6:03 p.m. on July 22. Units included Lafayette fire, Ada police, Ada-Liberty Township fire, and Ada-Liberty Township EMS.

Police respond to call about pit bull attacking dogs

Ada police responded to a call from a resident who said that a pit bull broke its leash and attacked dogs and the person making the call, according to yesterday’s Ada police log. The call was reported to police at 7:32 p.m. in the 500 block of North Main Street.

Stove fire on North Main Street on Monday

A stove fire at 515 N. Main St., Ada, was called in to the Ada Police Department at 2:59 p.m. on Monday, July 13, according to the Ada police log.

The log stated that units responding included one unit from LaFayette fire department, Ada police, Ada-Liberty Township EMS and several units from the Ada-Liberty Township fire department.

Ada police assist in apprehension of Lima man

A Lima man was taken into custody by Hardin County Sheriff’s deputies and faces numerous charges following an incident on Thursday, July 9.

The report for the sheriff’s office follows:

At approximately 7:35 p.m. while on routine patrol on Ohio 309 near County Road 15, a deputy observed a traffic violation of a vehicle being driven west on SR 309.

Upon signaling the vehicle to stop, it continued off the road traveling around a residence and outbuildings into a field.

Upon approaching the vehicle in the field, the drive, identified as Michael Parsons, 31, of Lima, exited the car and was taken into custody.
