Meet the 2021 Harvest and Herb Festival queen court. The festival Queen will be crowned at noon, September 18, during opening ceremonies at Ada's historic train depot, 9 Central Ave. The ladies are, from left to right:

Coloring contest winners announced

Nine local children were announced as the winners of the Century 21 Sunway Realty coloring contest, according to Tami Waller, secretary.

Evan Smittle participates in co-production of 'BARS'

Evan Smittle of Ada was part of the talented cast and crew in the Baldwin Wallace University and Playhouse Square collaborative production of "BARS (Beatboxing, Acting, Rapping, Singing)" during the spring 2021 semester.

Smittle, a graduate of Ada High School, served as a member of the arts management producing team in the production.

Local students named to Bluffton's undergraduate dean's list

Bluffton University has announced the dean's list for undergraduate students for the Spring 2021 term.

Students with a GPA of 3.6 or higher are eligible for the dean's list.

Students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 based on 20 semester hours received dean's list with distinction for continued high achievement.
