She's the OAC scholar-athlete of the month

Maggie Krause, junior biology major, serves with the Ohio Northern Colleges Against Cancer chapter

If someone glances through the career accolades list for junior pole vault specialist Maggie Krause, they quickly realize she embodies the true spirit of an NCAA Division III scholar-athlete.

In a breakout sophomore season, the Chagrin Falls native garnered All-OAC and All-Great Lakes Region honors in both the indoor and outdoor seasons. She also qualified for the indoor and outdoor national championships for the first time in her career.

If that was not enough, Krause then capped the eye-opening campaign with her first career All-American honor, finishing eighth at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Lacrosse, Wisconsin.
