In June 2025 over 60 Ada students and parents will travel to Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary on an educational trip. Three of the student travelers were awarded the Madame Traster Memorial Scholarship to help with expenses. Those students are Allison Stockert, Avery Conner and Aubrey Pope.

Mrs. Patricia Traster taught French at Ada High School for 28 years before retiring in 2007. One of her legacies was leading trips to France and eventually to other parts of Europe with her students and their families.

After passing in 2015, her family established a scholarship to assist Ada students who desired to travel internationally. Former student and current Ada High School teacher Kristin Salyer began leading trips to Europe in 2016 after being inspired by Mrs. Traster.
