~I graduated from Ada in 1996 and was also the prom king for this year
~I graduated from ONU in 2000 with a major in Communications
~My favorite superhero is Batman
~I was a singer in a band for five years and I have played guitar in my current band for three years
~I have been at my current job for 18 years

Gospel sing from noon to 6 p.m. in Ada Park today

The second annual community park sing, sponsored by the Hardin County Gospel Association takes place at the Ada Park, from noon to 6 p.m., on Saturday, June 29.

Parker Dean, Mitchell Lance and Mason Frederick Dearth died on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Cincinnati.

They were born on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center to Lance A. and Nichole (Trott) Dearth and they survive in Ada.

Man of Steel and After Earth both start Friday at Ada Theatre

It's a double feature at the Ada Theatre this week. Both movies are rated PG-13.

Starting Friday, June 28 and continuing through Sunday, June 30 will be:

Man of Steel, showing at 9 p.m.

Starting Friday, June 28 and running through Tuesday, July 2 will be:

Still time to register for a ONU student volunteer during Civic Engagement Day

There's still time to register for some assistance from ONU students on Aug. 24.

Do you have a service project around your home or business that would benefit from student volunteers from Ohio Northern University?

Ada Civic Engagement Day, where ONU students volunteer, is Saturday, Aug. 24. Ada businesses and residents may register for a volunteer to help out on that day.
The types of service projects include (these are examples):
• Painting
• landscaping
• planting trees
• cleaning
• cooking

Chamber and Business Alliance announces Hardin County events for July

Alliance Golf Outing
Sign up now for the 2013 Alliance Golf Outing.  This event will take place on August 9.   Teams will be posted and registration will start at 7:45 a.m..  There will be a SHOTGUN START at 8:30 a.m. The day will conclude with a meal and contest prize award presentation.
