The Arizona Cardinals will sign quarterback Zac Dysert off their practice squad in anticipation that starter Carson Palmer might not be ready to return from concussion protocol for a Thursday game against the San Francisco 49ers, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter. 11-acre solar field puts ONU in forefront of sustainable energy on Ohio campuses

The sun shone brightly when officials gathered Tuesday morning to celebrate the beginning of construction of an 11-acre solar field that will put Ohio Northern in the forefront of sustainable energy on college campuses in Ohio.

The $4 million project, located along Klingler Road south of the stadium, joins previous projects: geothermal, which benefits several residence halls, and the three wind turbines.

Hospice fundraiser Nov. 13-18 at Community Health Professionals

Planning is underway for the Ada Community Health Professionals 19th annual Festival of Trees.

This year's festival is from Sunday to Friday, Nov. 13-18, at Community Health Professionals, 1200 S. Main St., Ada.

Deb Curlis of CHP says, "Community groups and individuals are invited to sponsor a tree, wreath or decoration for the fund-raiser. Proceeds assist CHP's hospice program."

Fundraiser by Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation for breast cancer education and research

Zeta Tau Alpha’s Pink Pasta Dinner, hosted at The Inn at Ohio Northern University will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 18,  from 5-8 p.m.

Presale tickets are $12 while tickets at the door are $15. All proceeds go to the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation for breast cancer education and awareness.

Dinner will include salad, a pasta buffet with assorted sauces, breadsticks, desserts and drinks. There will be a 50/50 raffle during the event.

Event sponsors say: "Wear pink and come ready to eat and support Zeta Tau Alpha’s philanthropic efforts toward breast cancer education and awareness."
