Here's the sanctuary of the "Methodist Episcopal ChurcH" in Ada in 1902. The photo is from a book of photographs of Ada and Ohio Northern University titled "Ada and the O.N.U." TYhe New and the Old.

Here is a photograph from Lindsley's Art Gallery, Ada, which states on the front "finest enamel finish." The subject is Fred Hahn and the photo was probably taken at his 16th birthday, which dates this photo close to 1892. The Hahn family lived in Ada, where his parents had a bakery.

Bluffton pioneer photographer, Will A. Triplett, had an interesting sense of humor. This photo is a photographer's "set up." There are several items to check.

For example, the colt on the ground is playing dead, the boy in the chair holds the horse harness, but so does the dog - also sitting in a chair - behind the boy.
