Bulldogs girls basketball nipped by Cory

By Cort Reynolds

The visiting Ada girls basketball team fell behind early at local rival Cory-Rawson, then rallied before losing 49-45 in a non-league battle Tuesday night.

The Lady Bulldogs fell to 0-2 with the defeat, while C-R improved to 2-1 with the close victory.

"The main thing that hurt us is turnovers and we didn't consistently execute offensively, especially when we needed to," noted first-year head coach Zack Ricker.

"We were in foul trouble again and we just essentially made too many mistakes," he added.

ONU Law ’22 graduates’ bar passage rate among highest in Ohio

Ohio Northern University Law graduates who sat for the Ohio bar exam in the summer of 2022 collectively earned one of the highest passage rates compared to those from other colleges, at 81 percent. According to Kelly Stevens, ONU bar success coordinator, this cohort placed third, just behind Case Western Reserve University and The Ohio State University.

Stevens points out that the numbers are even more impressive considering that these graduates started their studies in fall 2019, not long before the COVID-19 pandemic began.
