5th annual old car cruise-in June 22 at Richland Manor

Richland Manor's fifth annual Friday Night Cruise-In is Friday, June 22, from 4 to 7 p.m., according to Barry Schneck.

The event includes food, entertainment and door prizes.

"Please bring a non-perishable food item as a donation to our yearly independence from Hunger food drive. The proceeds will go to local food banks," said Schneck.

The cruise-in includes dozens of antique and muscle vehicles. Richland Manor is at 7400 Swaney Road, Bluffton. For more details, contact Schneck at 419-643-3161.

Anything with wheels poker run June 23

ReStore will host an "Anything With Wheels" poker run Saturday, June 23.  Registration is at 11 a.m.

The first out are at 1 p.m. and the last out are at 5 p.m., according to sponsors of the event. Registration is $15 for one or $20 for two and $5 for each additional poker hands.

Proceeds go to The Beacon Fund at ReStore. Everyone is invited to attend. A free meal, provided from ReStore takes place at the conclusion of the event. Saturday bike rodeo in police parking lot

The Ada Police will hold a Bike Rodeo on Saturday, June 2, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ada Police Department parking lot. Each participating rider will receive a free bike helmet.

Bingo continues on Thursdays in downtown Ada

Ada Bingo plays on Thursdays in June at the Alumni N-men’s Building in downtown Ada.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Bingo begins at 6:55 p.m.

Ada Bingo uses new, radio-controlled electronic machines, as well as, traditional paper packages. Proceeds from Ada Bingo benefits the Ada Lions Club and Ada Music Boosters.

Men in Black 3 at Ada Theatre

James Curlis of Ada Theatre announced that "Men In Black 3" (PG-13) will be premiering at the theatre. 
Shows are:
Friday and Saturdays, 7 and 9:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday matinees, 4 p.m.
Sunday thorough Thursdays, 7 p.m.

Summer reading program registration now underway

Early registration for the Ada Public Library’s Summer Reading Club begins Wednesday, May 23, with the program starting on Thursday, June 7, at the Community Health Professional building located at 1200 S. Main St. in Ada.

Readers can log in the books they read starting Monday, June 4.

There will be special guests, activities, prizes and books to keep readers entertained throughout June and July. The program is open to ages 3 through 14.
