Home visits now offered by Midwest Rehab

Can't make it to the office? Midwest Rehab @ Home will come to you

Midwest Rehab, 118 E. Highland Ave., Ada, now offers physical and occupational therapy in homes of patients in and surrounding Ada, according to Joni Goodman, administrator of the Ada office.

It’s called Midwest Rehab @ Home.

The new service means patients unable to visit any of the three Midwest Rehab offices due to health risk, lack of transportation, limited mobility or other injuries now have the option of having therapists make private home visits.

Home visits are available in every community surrounding Ada, including for example, Lima, Findlay, Kenton, Bluffton, Arlington, Alger, McGuffey and Beaverdam.

Kelly Jackson named branch operations manager a Liberty NB, Kenton

Ronald L. Zimmerly, Jr., president and CEO of Liberty National Bank, announced the addition of a branch operations manager to the Liberty National Bank staff.

Kelly Jackson joined Liberty National Bank in August as the branch operations manager in the Kenton office. She brings with her more than 15 years of combined experience in management, banking, lending, and bank operations. She has worked various roles as she has progressed in her banking career including teller, banker and office manager.

Kelly is currently the Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of Logan County, for which she previously served on the board for approximately five years.  

Cole Motor Sales will close Sept. 20

Four-generation Ford dealership supplied Ada residents with vehicles for over 100 years

It’s the end of an era, and Cathy Cole says, “We’ve had a good run.”

Cole Motor Sales, a four-generation-owned Ada family business will close on Sept. 20, according to Cole.

Selling Fords, at 120 E. Buckeye, the company began assembling Model Ts in the 1910s that were shipped in parts to Ada on the railroad.

Ada became a “Ford” town and the large number of Ford vehicles in Ada today reflect the Cole Motor presence.

Area school letter jackets now at Reichert's

Reichert's, 111-113 S. Main St., Ada, has a complete stock of Hardin County school letter jackets, according to Fred Reichert.

"The jackets are Holloway wool and are 20 percent off," he said. "We can embroidery, sew letters and patched on jackets."

Gary A. Wallberg, has joined Liberty National Bank as vice president of financial planning for Liberty Financial Services, LLC, and investment representative of Infinex Investments, Inc.

Wallberg comes to Liberty National Bank with over 25 years in the financial services industry.

"He joined the bank to run and build our Liberty Financial Services program, located at Liberty National Bank," said Ronald L. Zimmerly., Jr., president and CEO of the bank.
