Kiwanis Service Project at the Library

Today Ada's Kiwanis group held it's meeting at the Ada Public Library. After a brief introduction to the history of the library  Library Director, Amanda Bennett, shared some statistics about library services, and discussed 2014 in review with Kiwanians present. After a Q&A, members offered their time to the library, assisting in the cleaning of DVDs, and shelf reading (reading spine labels to make sure materials are in alphabetical order.)

The Ada Public Library would like to thank Ada Kiwanis for their hard work!

Library's Twinkle heads back to North Pole

A Christmas season visitor to the Ada Public Library bids farewell to patrons until next December. Twinkle, one of Santa's elves, spent the month in the library.

Each day Twinkle found a new location to watch patrons. And now Twinkle is ready to head back to the North Pole. He made the staff brunch for his last trick.

Accoding to the library staff: "It was so nice to have him around the library; watching and listening for all the good boys and girls. Thanks to you, we made the nice list!"
