Men's soccer named Silver Recipient for NSCAA Ethics/Sportsmanship Award

By Andrew Korba

The Ohio Northern men's soccer team received a Silver Award for team ethics and sportsmanship, given by the National Soccer Collegiate Coaches Association.

The Polar Bears were just one of two Division III teams to win a silver award.

To be eligible, a team must receive zero red cards during the season, which includes both the regular and postseason.

A silver award means that ONU received between one and five yellow cards during their matches this year.

Ohio Northern finished the season with a 25-3-0 record and won their second straight OAC Regular Season Championship and third consecutive OAC Tournament Championship.
