Hardin Chamber and Business Alliance and The Inn at ONU promote county

The Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance and The Inn at Ohio Northern University recently joined more than 200 representatives from museums, attractions, hotels, and visitors bureaus from throughout the Midwest at Heartland Travel Showcase in Toledo.

Heartland Travel Showcase is the Midwest’s largest motor coach marketplace and features the region’s top destinations and attractions for group tours.

Kelly Kobiela: "Reading is cliché for a librarian, but I enjoy it"

“I like being part of the community,” shares Kelly Kobiela, an Ada resident of almost two years. “I like living in Ada because I can walk or bike to work,” says Kelly.  Kelly came to Ada after seeking employment that would bring her closer to her Auburn, Ind., roots from a job at Colby-Sawyer College in New Hampshire.

Delmer Brown, 1935-2014

Delmer F. Brown, 78, died on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 11:05 a.m. at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.

He was born on August 26, 1935 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, to Estel and Clara (Baldridge) Brown and they preceded him in death. He first married Shirley Rizer and they are divorced. He later married Pauline Daniels and she preceded him in death.

Delmer retired from Rockwell International of Kenton. He was a member of the Cornerstone Harvest Church, Lima.

Jerry Fagan, 1932-2014

Jerome "Jerry" Fagan, 81, died on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:25 p.m. at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.

He was born on October 16, 1932 in Sidney, Ohio, to Raymond and Leona (Schafer) Fagan and they preceded him in death. On July 21, 1956 he married Verna M. Ballard and she died on September 11, 1987. On April 9, 1988 he then married Esther (Nichols) Young and she survives in Kenton, Ohio.
