W. Stephen Fraley worked at HARCO Industries

W. Stephen Fraley, age 73, of Kenton, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at the Springs of Lima. 

He was born on August 7, 1951 in Kenton, Ohio to the late William and Lonna (Shepherd) Fraley.  

Stephen is survived by his two brothers: J. Kevin Fraley of Elida and Christopher L. (Deb) Fraley of Vancouver, WA; a sister, Kathy (Dean) Shipp of Elyria; twelve nieces and nephews: Laura, Deanna, Paul, Nick, Jaimie, Lindsay, Logan, Luke, Dominic, Mia, Harper, and Henley; and nine great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Angela Fraley. 

Stephen worked at HARCO Industries, Kenton.

NORTH ROBINSON – The Ada High School swim teams competed well at the 11-team North Central Ohio Swim League championship meet hosted by Colonel Crawford on January 18, finishing fourth at the annual event.

Perennial power Colonel Crawford swept to the boys, girls and combined team titles. Ada finished a solid fourth in all three standings.

The CC girls have won nine straight league championships. The Eagle boys have won three of the last five NCOSL crowns.

DOLA – Free throws don’t usually make TV highlight shows, but they often decide close games.

The visiting Ada High School boys basketball team nipped county rival Hardin Northern 44-41 by sinking three free throws in the final seconds Saturday night.

Bulldog sophomore Carson Conley broke a 41-41 tie by hitting the second of two foul shots with 2.5 seconds left.
