Ada Presbyterian Church celebrates 175th anniversary Oct. 16

Ada Presbyterian Church invites the community to worship withon Sunday, Oct. 16 at 10:30 a.m.

The congregation celebrates its 175th year worshipping and ministering in Ada. Here is an early photo taken of the church.

Boys' soccer: It's Ada 4 - Upper Sandusky 1

Single-vehicle accident claims life of Alger resident

An Alger man was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle crash according to the Hardin County Sheriff's Office.

Terry L. Hattery, 70, of Alger, was driving a pickup truck at 6:40 p.m. west on state Route 309 near County Road 115 when he drove off the north side of the road and struck a tree.

Hattery was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff's report.

The crash remained under investigation Wednesday

"The Shape of Things" presented by ONU Theatre Department

Oct. 27-30 in The Freed Center

The Ohio Northern University Theatre Department presents The Shape of Things, a classic contemporary play by Neil LaBute.

Performances are Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 27 to 30, at The Freed Center for the Performing Arts, Stambaugh studio theatre.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 to 29 and 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 29-30. A pre-show discussion takes place on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.
