Chamber members to meet at Buckeye East

The monthly Ada Area Chamber of Commerce membership meeting will be held at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17. This month the meeting will be held at

Chamber director Lindsay Walden notes "There will also be several updates regarding the Made in Ada Wilson Football Festival, upcoming ribbon-cutting events, and more! If you are looking to get more involved in the community, this meeting is for you! We hope to see you there."

Ada Historical Society holds public meeting at private Ada museum

The Ada Historical Society, which typically meets monthly at the Ada Public Library, will hold an open house on Wednesday, August 17, 2022:

  • 6:00-8:00 p.m.
  • Lee Crouse's Ada Museum
  • 4236 State Rouste 81, Ada, Ohio

Season Review: ONU women’s golf 2021-22

The 2021-22 season was highly successful for the Ohio Northern women's golf team.

The Polar Bears finished with a record of 75-14 and placed second in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships after falling to Otterbein by one stroke in a playoff, marking their 19th straight top-five finish in the event.

"The ending was bittersweet, but I couldn't have been much happier with how we played this season," ninth-year head coach Chad Bucci said.

Book Review: The Woman in the Library

The cast is small, but the mystery is large.

While police check out why a woman let out a blood curdling scream in the Boston Public Library Reading Room, four people seated at a table together get to know each other and their writings. These are the primary characters in a book under construction by a woman named Hannah, whom we do not know, although we do hear from an unasked-for critic who gives her advice by email.
