Polar Bears clinch share of 9th consecutive OAC regular season title

The Ohio Northern men's swimming and diving clinched at least a a share of its 9th consecutive OAC Regular Season title on Senior Day with a 180-39 victory over Baldwin Wallace Saturday at the ONU Sports Center Natatorium.

The Polar Bears improve to 7-1 overall and finish 4-0 in Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet action, while the Yellow Jackets fall to 3-7, 0-3.

ONU has now won seven straight and is 9-2 in the Golden Kickboard trophy series with Baldwin Wallace, which began in 2005.

The Polar Bears won 11 of the 12 events, led by sophomore John Raker.

Raker won the 200 I.M. in 2:03.70 and won the 500 free in 5:00.07.

ONU cheer clinic Jan. 31

ONU Cheerleading will be hosting a clinic on January 31 from noon-2:15 p.m. at the King Horn Sports Center. Participants will perform at halftime at the ONU Men's Basketball game against John Carroll (game at 3 p.m.). Cost is $20 and includes a clinic T-shirt.
